I don't mean to sound cynical because anyone doing anything for a genuine cause should be applauded but because there are so many scams about these days and dishonest unscrupolous people have been known to collect large sums of money from kind well wishes and then spend the collected cash often large amounts on themselves has led a lot of people me included not to trust these sponsorships /collections etc might I suggest that you contact a reknowned registered charity whom you can use or failing that you maybe  contact your local newspaper and get people to donate money to the paper which in turn can be sent to registered charities in Nepal donators can be sure that the cash will go where it is meant to go

Climbing Mt Everest will cost much more than 10,000 Euros. Instead of going to the expense, not to mention the life-threatening hassle, of climbing up Everest, why don't you simply hand the money straight over to the good people of Nepal and chill out?
