This is because the song may promote too much violence or has reference to child murder etc. For example Eminem's Song "Kim" on the dirty and clean version there is a part that goes "Theres a ____ year old little ___ laying dead with a slit throat in your living room!" The real verse reads "Theres a four year old little boy laying dead with a slit throat in your living room!"
