  1. basically

    they clamp your belly..

at this point you will be so nervous!

    and then its over with.

it doesn't hurt when the needle goes in

and anyone who tells you it hurts are lying, because they numb your belly so it cant possibly hurt, you can just feel it.

    afterwords it stings a bit.

but just clean it with salt water..

don't change it for about 3 weeks because i changed mine after 2 when it looked okay

    and then it got infected

so choose a bar you like when they peirce it so you don't want to change it as soon as you get it done.

i have 13 peircings and that was the least painfull

    honest :)

  2. Hi there

Firstly, go to a proper piercing studio who will perform the piercing properly with a sterile needle.  Never use the piercing gun for a belly button piercing.

Secondly, the piercing is'nt painful.  It is a quick pinch.  But make sure you eat before you go for the piercing.  Otherwise you could feel a bit faint afterwards.

After the piercing when home, make sure you clean the piercing with warm salt water regularly to stop any infection and keep moving it around to ensure proper cleaning.

Finally, for a short while you should try not to wear tight clothing that will rub against the piercing.  This could cause irritation and maybe even infection.

I got my belly piercing about 10 years ago, did the above and it's still looking hot!

    Hope this helps!

    Happy piercing.

  3. Its just like a pinch when the needle goes through!

    The clamp kills tho :(

  4. It does hurt pretty bad

    but it's complety worth it

AND MAKE SURE YOU KEEP UUP  WITH THE CLEANING THEY TELL YOU TO DO!

if you dont it could get affected and it's not good

  5. When you go and get it done make sure you have some something to eat and drink before, i didn't have anything and felt a little faint.

Also surprisingly it doesn't hurt as bad as it seems, it feels like a hard pinch, but after it is rather sore for a couple of days and it hurts a little when you bend over.

But once a weeks has past then it's fine and looks great and when you can change it you can buy feally pretty bars ;)

    Hope this helps

  6. i got mine done! u dont realy feel any pain because they sort of clamp the skin and then they pierce it. just a little pinch. it does be over in like 2 seconds any way good look!! x

oh and if u go on you tube u can see people gettin it done!!

  7. good for you

  8. The clamp pinches really bad, which is the worst bit. It's over in seconds though. It will be hard to put your socks on for the first week haha. Try to remember its there, I kept forgetting and caught the bar on everything possible.

  9. when i went to get mine done i was reli scared but when i got in there it had been done before i new she had even started lol. it rely does not hurt i didnt feel nothing!

  10. My brother's ex-girlfriend said she couldn't look at her belly button for a week without almost fainting.

It also bled quite a bit when they pierced it.

I wanna get mine done too :)

  11. you'll never know until you try yourself :)

  12. I've had sneezes that hurt more than getting my navel (belly button) pierced. It's fairly painless, especially if you have a proper, good piercer who doesn't use clamps.

  13. It really not that painful, as a big wimp myself lol i had mine done at 15 and its just like a little pinch honestly doesnt even hurt. getting a lip piercing now that hurtss. good luck xx

  14. Getting a navel piercing has a little bit of pain involved.  You'll feel a bit of discomfort from the clamp they will use to hold the skin.  The clamp will be tightened into place and that's when you know what is coming next.  You'll feel a sharp pain that seems to go dull and it only lasts for about 2 seconds.  As the ring is put in and secured into place, you'll feel heat and a slight dull pain radiating from the site, but it will pass within a few hours.

Do not use alcohol or peroxide to clean it.  Just wash it a few times a day with a non-perfumed soap.  Dial is the best to use on it.  Just wash it gently with warm water for the first week or so and do not play with it until it is fully healed.  If you insist upon touching it, wash your hands first to keep from getting it infected.

  15. The pain isn't bad at all. It just feels like someone poked you with a pen. Don't have the person who pierces you countdown ...that makes the pain worse because you'll know its coming. Just let them do it without notice. It's very quick and easy and totally worth it. The next few days after getting it pierced, the area will be sore...but it's not like an unbearable sore, more like when you work out and you can feel it in your muscles type of sore. Of course you will want to sleep on your back and be very careful not to accidentally hit your ring or get it snagged on your clothes, that will hurt while its still healing. Wait around 6-8 weeks before you change your ring so you know for sure that its completely healed. If you go to the piercing parlor and they suggest you buy some sort of spray to use on your piercing, BUY IT. It speeds up the healing process and makes it alot smoother. It also prevents any type of infection. Good luck and don't be nervous!
