ive heard a lot of stuff about what to do and what not do to.

i know to be prepared to be very annoyed by people constantly trying to sell you stuff. But most of all ive heard you need to respect their culture and girls should completley cover themselves up?!

Usual holidays i walk around in little shorts and a kaftan, ive heard bikins are ok on the beach and pool, but as soon as you leave you need to cover up. Is this true? Also im stayin in a purpose built tourist place, so will i be able to wear a bit more reveling clothes for dinner around there?! (i.e a nice top and shorts and heels?) Im just looking for tips and advice basically.....

  1. Yes if it is a legal requirement for women to cover up in Tunisia when in public. Mainly this is shoulders and legs. Ask at the  embassy for current laws relating to public dress codes for tourist women. They will tell you when, where and how to obey the laws of their country. Im thinking within the tourist place your staying, its obviously not public, so im guessing you can wear whatever you want.
