fighting & ground type moves cauase 1.4 times their normal rate of damage against primal dialga..primal dialga's ROAR OF TIME is an incredibly powerful move. THROW a SLEEP SEED or EYE SEED to buy yourself a few turns..glad 2 answer & help

Ok, here we go. First off, when the battle starts, use an X-Eye seed on Dialga and give yourself some time to get your strategy started, as well as listen to some of the best music of the game. After Dialga gets distracted by the seed, set your partner to use distance attacks. Now you should GO UP to Dialga. It sounds stupid, yes, but it will stop your partner from going up themselves and getting murdered. Now, if you can get Dialga cornered, great. If you can't, don't worry about it. Just keep hitting him while he's distracted by the seed. If he regains his senses again, use another seed. If you can't defeat him by then, just bear his attacks. You should have at least 3 reviver seeds when the battle starts. Watch out for his Roar of Time attack. Its devastating and will finish you off most likely if you don't have full health. But he won't be able to move afterwards for a turn so you can either heal or use that opportunity for attacks. He should go down soon, just make sure you heal and avoid death. Hope this helps.
