Im Starting Highschool. Please Please Help.?

Question

Okay... Im starting highschool tomorrow and my mom hasnt bought me anything. No new shoes, clothes, supplies, nothing.

She's too busy in going to Chicago to go to court. And what not.

Im asking should I ask her why I didnt get anything. Im looking for a job but too young.

And im trying to stretch what i do have from last year but my shoes are ripped and dirty. I only have uniform clothes from last year, i dont really go outside so i just wear pajamas all day.

But yeah... should i ask?

You should, also, maybe get a cute 3 dollar tank and get a uniform skirt, something different. Color your shoes if they are that kind, it's common where I live

You need supplies.

If not, ask your dad to take you.

Or get your mom to give you money and ask a friend to take you.

Yeah, you should. If you can't then ask your dad. I know, shopping with dad alone can be "interesting". If that's too unbearable, borrow some money and ask a friend for a ride to the store.

Of course. She's your mother & it's her job to take care of you. You need supplies too. It's something you really do need to get through the year. Tell her that you're going to get a job as soon as you're old enough but until then she needs to get you the necessities.

Of course you need to ask her, there is no reason why you shouldn't have any clothes for school yet let alone supplies. This actually bothers me a bit. Does she feed you?

Same thing happened to me...school started last week.

I still have a couple of old shirts but i know how you feel.

It's so frustrating.

Just use your old clothes for now

and when she gets back ask her

also maybe u can ask her to let you barrow her credit card and shop online
