  1. Hormonal imbalance, or a low grade fever from infection. Depends how long it's been going on for and if there are any other symptoms you might not have connected to this problem.

If hormones, take Maca. It's a herb; safe for anyone of any age to take. It's very balancing and at your age might be all that is needed to stop the flushes. Are your periods regular?

Someone answered that it might be post menopause. I doubt that very much. That is after an older woman has finished menstruating and gone through menopause. It is possible for a younger woman to go through early menopause but I am not suggesting that with such little information to go by. I suggest you see a medical herbalist and give more details about your hormonal cycle so that they can pinpoint the cause.

Another cause could be your liver. Overheating and unusual sweating especially at night can be signs that your liver needs support. A blood test might even show that your liver is fine yet it might still be the cause. Do you get hot feet? Are you a bit nauseous in the morning and don't really feel like breakfast? The liver is also involved in hormonal function so this is a good organ to treat no matter what the problem is caused by. Milk thistle is a safe and very effective liver tonic. Available at health stores.

  2. your probably just stressed. and there is something called post menapause. (i dont know how to spell it) it's probably just that. see your doctor maybe.

  3. hi hon, it could be a hormone related thing, maybe thyroid, or maybe stress, ask for a full blood check and consult your Dr, in meantime , take cool sips of water, wring a  face  flannel out  and pat your forehead with it,or spray lightly with a  water spray, have a bedside fan on, and have cotton sheets. Good luck, take care.

  4. I am in my late 30's and am always having to put the fan on.  I have a shower, blow dry my hair and then within 20 minutes my hair is damp again and I'm sweating.  My skin feels cold but I'm soaked, don't know if this is a hot flush or something else  :(

  5. im 19 and get hot flushes before during or after my period! it happens regularly now does it happen around your period?then that could be what it is other than that it may be a change in your health you may be eating less healthy food or exercising less than you used to.either that or its early menopause
