Question:

Im a 5'10 female. I had to buy a men's board size 162! r there any tall boards out there for females?

oh and I have boots size 10.5 in mens but I still think they're a little too small! If they were any bigger they'd stick out way over the edge of the board. how am I supposed to learn to carve like that?

  1. ok i am 5'10 female too, you don't need that tall snowboard. 155 or 156 should be OK. I am riding 153 because i am doing lots of freestyle and you need smaller board for that. But i was riding 155 too and it was totally fine trust me.


  2. First of all, that board is too big for you. You also won't need a "wide" board if you get a men's board. It is normal for a boot to hang over a litte - the bevel under the heel and toe are there to give you more clearance. A binding with a "lifter" will also help.

    A person 5'11" weighing 190lbs should only be riding around a 158 - that is my height and weight. My first board (that I rode for 5 years) was a Ride Control 158 - which is not a wide board. I wear a size 11 boot and that board is wide enough for my boots.
