Im a Mets Fan but whats up with The Washington Nationals why are they like this?

They are a bad team playing even worse than they are, because they are a team who looks to me as though they have given up. They will be better next year I predict. Also they just played the Phillies and the Phillies can make teams look bad at times.

Poorly run. No pitching. Bad luck with some of their prospects developing (Dukes, Milledge) and with injuries.

The Nationals have decent pitching as in past years. But they lack offense also like in the past. Not to mention they are a low payroll team in a tough division. They will probably be the "Pirates" of the NL East until they get enough management support to spend on a decent lineup. Until then, they will develope a few young good prospects and trade them like Pittsburgh.

The Nats are still a very young team. It's going to take some time before they build a really good baseball team. Like any other newer team they have some growing to do.

Expos/Nats have been bottom feeders for a while now.
