  1. Hey, I'm also 15 and I started tennis three weeks ago, no joke. Too be honest, before my first lesson I picked up a wilson racket. I bleive it was called the "matchpoint." Itw asn't too expensive and it works great. I think any other racket would be fine also.

  2. well, it actually depends on your play style...

ex. I'm more of a net player so I use a Prince(just cuz its my favorite) Volly Ti200.

so first get a racket that fits your play style and I suggest an over size racket, it just means that it has a bigger sweet spot.

  3. u have to try out different types of raquets and see which one suits u most as u improve , u'll probably need differet raquets this is because the strenght and the style of ur play will change with experience

  4. Babolat Pure Drive racket will be good for you.

  5. do NOT get a JR. size(small) get one that feels comfortable to you. i believe mine is a 2 1/5 inch grip... and a 10 inch diameter head made by Wilson.

  6. im 15 too. ive been playing for 8 years now. its always smart to demo some rackets first to find one that suits you, whether it is a control or power type racket. www.tenniswarehouse.com is good place to demo. for 10 dollars shipping you can demo as many rackets as you want. currently im playing with a wilson nsix-one 95. i would recommend something from 90 to 110 sq inches for a racket frame. once you find a racket that suits you well, you should also find some strings that work for you. hope this helps.
