Im a boxerim 5'9 210 pounds.i have a flabby belly.i ve been training everyday for 6 months.i eat 3 meals a day

what is a proven diet specifically for boxers.i dont want to lose weight.but gain muscle and a little bit of weight.due to im a heavyweight.any good diet/exercise program to gain muscle/a little bit of weight.

  1. Do you belong to a boxing gym? surely they advise you about diet ? My ex was a boxer, he ate high protein foods and exercised for hours a day, ran everyday, 100's of sit ups etc.


  2. 6 meal a day is way better and u should do that.  3 meals a day is for normal people, ur not normal.

  3. lean meat with vegetables, no sweets.

  4. # Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. Add lemon or lime for flavor.

    # Avoid high sugar juices and soda.

    # Avoid fried foods and saturated fats, instead opting for baked or broiled items.

    # Consume essential fatty acids, or supplement with flaxseed oil or cod liver oil.

    # Consume complex carbohydrates from natural food sources such as yams, oatmeal, fruit, and whole-wheat grain.

    # Consume rich sources of protein, such as chicken, beef, and eggs.

    # Avoid processed foods such as white flour. Natural items are always superior.

    # Eat 5 to 6 moderately sized meals spaced throughout the day (ex. every 3 hours).

  5. Dont eat 3 times a day. Eat 5 times. Spread your food. Also eat more in the morning and at night eat 1/5 of the calorie you eat in the morning. Also add up you calories to 3500 if you want to gain weight. Do lot of cardio exercises. Lots of jumping jacks, and sit ups are pretty good.

  6. There's something wrong here? You have been doing this training for the past 6 months and still not losing weight? Are you sure you're not getting up in the middle of the night to pig out?

  7. try a protein powder, it fills u up and makes u soooooo buff, my brother is a football player and he gained 15 pounds of muscle in 2 1/2 weeks.
