passenger but have never driven one.I will but a bike then i will learn to drive it.I just dont know how to shop for a bike.Im 5'6 150 lbs if that matters.I dont care if its new or used,the color,make/model.It must be a crotch rocket a.k.a. sport bike,and id like for it to have a storage compartment.It doesnt have to be real fast cause i dont plan to race other bikers.Any suggestions.

Katanas and Ninjas are typically very good beginner bikes (good balance, easy to ride)  so I'd look into those.  The best thing you can do is learn to ride one (there are motorcycle schools) and then go to a couple dealers and test drive to see what feels best for you.

ninja 250 is a good cheap, reliable, and economical bike. they are small, nimble and kawasaki has been making them for years so i think most would believe they are a good bike. you can get a new one for around $3500 and a good used one for around $2000. great gas mileage too. have fun good luck

One aspect of sport bikes is the complete absence of storage bags straight from the factory.  That said there are many companies that sell seat bags, soft or hard saddle bags, and trunks.  

Compare insurance costs of any of the bikes you choose.  What is the point of having a bike that will go 150 plus miles an hour when you state you do not plan on racing the bike?

Just something to think about when you are looking for a bike.

I would do your research and educate yourself on motorcycles.  I suggest you look at a used machine first.  Cheaper to purchase compared to new.
