Im a figure skater in traing right now and i was wandering if anyone had any websites that would help me learn how to be a better skater!?

  1. There are some great books out there.  "Conditioning for Figure Skaters" is one I would recommend, but that's more about training.

    The Complete Book of Figure Skating is a great reference. It has detailed instructions for every move you can think of.

    On the web, I have a couple of bookmarks.  You have to dig to find what would be right for your level.

    Also, hanging out on ice skating forums is a great resource.

  2. there arent only good websites but youtube is awesome on learning tips! thatb is always where I go first. you can see people compete and also hands on! it works really well because you can actually see it for help!

  3. i think that ur coach would be the best bet to help you because many people have different techniques when they skate, and the way they do it may be different to you. its alot easier to learn with a demonstration on how to do it. u should ask ur coach so that u learn it the right way. ( - 8*
