  1. No problemo dear. When you get back to the Philippines, get your birth certificate on NSO paper when you ask that your passport be renewed/modified.

They will return your OLD passport to you. You then attach the OLD to the NEW passport when you apply for the K-1 visa.

You will have fixed the age discrepancy at the same time retaining all the immigration stamps on the old passport for proof. Congratulations and good luck to you.**

  2. Go to this website.

    http://travel.state.gov/passport/passpor...

  3. Do you need to take the birth certificate with you?  Just tell them you're the age on the passport.

If the passport is legit and in the system.  Then just tell them that's your birthday.  Provided you don't need to take your birth certificate with you.  I am under the impression that a passport is legal and no other documents are required.  All the movies I've ever seen don't show people showing their birth certificates with their passport.

    Maybe I'm wrong about that.

Otherwise, suck it up and get a new passport.

PS...if its been stamped before why is it a problem now?

Call the embassy and ask them.  They will know exactly what to do.  I will say this though.  The longer you wait the longer it takes.  Call the embassy.
