  1. you can do this by finding employment first and then applying for working visa , or you can visit and find a job and apply for visa to stay

  2. kabayan...

Go to http://www.Jobbank.gc.ca look for jobs that would match your skills / profession. it all start by emailing them and asking them if they would accept foreign application. if you receive a favorable answer, you can work out some form of a contract indicating the duties and responsibilities, terms, qualifications, remuneration and other stuffs.

what you want to have from the employer is a Labor Market Opinion (LMO). the employer would be the one to secure this from the HRSDC. once you have this, you just have to apply for a work permit (visa) at the canadian embassy at abu dhabi. you would need the LMO and the signed contract to do this as well as you supporting documents (transcripts, etc). for details in securing a work visa go here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index....

don't be fooled into paying immigration consultancy firms for this. it's pretty straight forward.

oh and also, you shouldn't have to pay for anything but the visa application and your plane ticket. all matters pertaining to your work application (in canada) should be borne out by the employer and not you.

  3. You must obtain a temporary work permit and/or apply to become a permanent resident in order to live and work legally in Canada

  4. Just to add some advice, as I have travelled to many countries for work. Have alot of patience!! Hopefully you have a very rare skill that will land you a good job and the company will be willing to go thru all the hassel to acquire you. It's a lengthy process and can sometimes be frustrating. But if you do end up in Canada, it's all worth it. It's a great country.
