  1. Act like its your 3rd year of high school be cool =0)

  2. act cool relaxed and dont try to hard dont be annoying

    and be yourself

  3. i am also going into high school, and i asked my sister who just graduated and she said ots normal for freshman to be a little non social during passing periods because theyre not used to their classes or the school the first week of school-- my sister only had 2 tips-- dont try to be like the seniors and hang around almost all passing period th efirst few weeks of school becuase you wont be used to it yet and the 2nd tip-- dont run, you WILL have enough time if you walk. i hoped this helped and good luck in highschhool!

    (:

  4. dont be to nervous..remember your in a class with a bunch of students who are just as nervous as you are.

the nicer you are the more people will like you and the more friends you'll have

dont follow peer pressure be a LEADER not a follower

if someone is pressuring you to do something bad DONT DO IT..they are not a true friend

if you are going out with a boy make sure he does not take advantage of you..if he does he is not the right one and you'll probably end up getting pregnant from ONE mistake

    dont bully

balance your social life and schoolwork

    do ALL homework

put best effort into work (because colleges look at school work in 9th grade also

    have a great freshman year!

  5. Just be yourself.

  6. good luck! I am a sophomore I had its up and down last year. Be yourself, dont be fake becuase majority of the school is gonna dislike you so just be yourself please. warning there might be perverted seniors messing with you probably to get some... it nasty but true, so dnt fall for it right away. Study if u get a bad year your gonna regret it senior year trust me Ive seen ppl fail because there freshmen year. a lot of friends you have there arent so close you may loose connection with becuase so many new people n new clicks. I wish you the best you will love it if your with teh wrong people n attend school event GET OUT dere do stuff have fun! last 4 years baby!

  7. be yourself !!

but dont be the frosh with a huge backpack cause at my school they dont know how to use their locker hah

BUT just be yourself and flirt with the guys ;)

  8. The best advice any person could have is to just be yourself. You don't have to "act" a certain way for the benefit of other people. Be secure with yourself enough not to feel like you have to change who you are just to fit in. Though it may sound hard to do at times, you will be proud of yourself and thankful for it later in life.

  9. I would say be yourself, but I don't know what yourself is actually like. Haha I just realized that might have sounded kind of mean, but I meant that in the best way possible :) Just don't, don't, DON'T be a s**t. There's nothing we seniors/upperclassmen hate more than S****y freshmen. Don't put down others or act like you're better than your classmates or older students because people will think you're a b**** and really mean. Someone else said something about seniors/upperclassmen trying to go out with you just to get in your pants and that's true sometimes, I have a friend who that almost happened to. Stand up for yourself, but don't get aggressive. Just have a good time with your friends, but don't try to act BA and don't be rude to others. Some freshmen at my school were really bored one day, apparently, and they took a bunch of apples from the cafeteria (we have like a basket of free fruit for people) and threw them into a toilet in the girls' bathroom. And that was such an immature, petty, rude thing to do.. it was just really lame. Don't do stuff like that. I don't know, maybe they thought it was fun, but use your head and just think about what you're doing. And don't drink and smoke when you're only a freshman, that's not cool. Be a nice person. People will respect you for that. And get involved in things! Everybody appreciates someone who has school spirit; play a sport; join some clubs-- they'll give you a chance to do something you like and you can make new friends, like upperclassmen who can help you out sometimes (ex. rides home). Hmm.. what else? Do your schoolwork, get good grades and take challenging courses because when you apply to college you'll appreciate that bit of advice. Don't settle for the easy way out, ever. If there's something you love and you're passionate about, stick with it, don't give it up. Respect your upperclassmen and we'll appreciate that-- we might give you some c**p but it shouldn't usually be anything too bad or personal, it'll just be because you're a freshman so don't take offense and don't retaliate. Just remember, we all went through the same things as you, and when you're a senior maybe you'll get a chance to pick on some freshmen too (in a nice way of course). Hope this helped. And don't be discouraged, this is really long and it might be a lot of stuff to take in but most of it is just being a decent person. And remember-- it's only one year! And we've all been there, so don't feel too bad :)
