  1. You have answered your own question.  Anyone who thinks they are a good driver when they have so little experience is dangerous by definition.  The test is too easy to pass as it is.

I hope you change your attitude of never pass your test.

Seriously though, wise up, take your time, think about why you failed and get your instructor to tell you the difference between major and minor faults and know that major errors could kill you or someone else and that's why they will not be tolerated on test.

  2. You can get stuff at the chemist which will help to calm your nerves, Don't know the name but just ask-this is what my mum did to pass on 4th attempt at age 40.

  3. Were you given the 'test' results of WHY you recieved so many points that made you fail,  you are ENTITLED TO KNOW.

Look it over and work on them.

I know it's hard and You know Nervousness can play a BIG factor!

    GOOD LUCK on this one!

  4. that makes you an idiot.  buy a bus pass.

  5. sounds to me that your instructor is helping you. Even by giving one word prompts, this can stop you getting into difficulties.  If your instructor needs to say anything such as no, wait, go etc, you would otherwise have got it wrong.

On a test, an examiner is looking for total independent driving, without prompts.  If that is not happening on your lessons, which if you are at test standard should be thought of as a drive out rather than a lesson, then you are not ready for independent driving and therefore will not pass a test.  Good luck next time anyway!

  6. Many people take their driving test when they are not sufficiently prepared, or haven’t practiced enough, or haven’t practiced the right way. Others get very nervous because they don’t know what to expect. Remember, the DMV examiner will ride with you only to make sure that you can drive safely and obey traffic laws.

  7. Hmmm... Good Driver? Failed test? Doesn't quiite add up.

Observations? Leave themout and you could kill yourself and others too.

Might be time to change your instructor to one who will not put you in till you are ready

  8. Try calms tablets from chemist or bach flower remedies, not sure which one though, ask for advice first. I know how you feel I keep failing as well, don't give up, and good luck!

  9. you can not do good and fail.

try doing some relaxing things before the test.

  10. first of all ,do not worry about previous failures. When I was younger and learning to drive, I asked my Instructor who is best pupil ever was,and he named someone I knew who failed 4 times and passed on his 5th,but like you it was silly mistakes.I myself was am instructor inthe army and the second best pupil I taught took 3 passes and the worst one passed first time, just view every time that you go out  is another hour towards gaining more experience, which is the only thing that makes the majority of people better drivers, trust me you will learn something new every day by seeing other peoples driving behaviour. Good luck with your next test

  11. You must be a very bad driver to fail 4 times, not everyone is meant to be a driver, better you take the bus or train rather than kill someone on the road.

  12. i had the same problem, took me 6times to pass,i wasnt my driving cos i was good enuf, but i had to get my head straight, just think observations are there for areason,u cud have an accident if u dont check mirrors, use chewing gum,it takes ure mind of it,on ure test think about what to have to do think it over in your head the more u think about it and plan ahead the better it will be,i know its hard to do,doesnt exactly help when theres people that do it first time, but the more times u fails its all experience, and just pretend the examiner isnt there, imagine uve just pasted and its your car, just think u might not have to do it again after good luck hun ull get there, dont listen to people like Prof Robin Stealidge cos u need confidence to pass, its not just about driving for 40mins

  13. Sorry but 'good driver' and 'fail' do NOT go together.

I tend to find that in 100% of cases where someone says they are a good driver...they are not, they just think they are.

You are evidently NOT a 'good driver' or you would have passed your test THREE EXAMINATIONS AGO!!

Getting a failure for 'observation' means you don't pay ANY attention to what is going on around you - VERY DANGEROUS!

  14. stop by your local bar and have a few drinks before the test. (joking) don't do that.
