Anyways, anything that can be covered or kept sanitary is alright to use, handles of objects, candles, etc.

One rule though is to have something handy to use as lubricate, olive oil, or h**l, even water.

Just use lots of lube to prevent possible damage or hemorrhoids.

Anything smooth, with a rounded end, no sharp edges, and with a handle or grip so you can't lose it inside.

I personally don't understand the appeal of this, but whatever floats your boat.  I think you should be concerned about "losing" your plunger.  That may lead to some explaining about your activities.
