my friends being so jelous of my job

im a model and all my friends take it SO SERIOUSLY

if i ask them for an opinion on my hair or something theyre like your a model you should know...

its really annoying

i act like i dont care but i do

i mean we arent in high school anymore guys?

what should i do?

I think the best thing to do would be to sit down with your friends and tell them NICELY how you feel. Afterall, you said yourself you have been pretending not to mind, so maybe they just don't realise it upsets you and think it's OK for them to say those things.

Just them know that even though you are a model, you're still a girl and their friend and you appreciate and want their advice and opinions about hair/make-up/clothes. Tell them that sometimes when they say things like "you're a model, you should know" you feel hurt/upset/left out.

well they are prob jealous because they cant be models. and when you ask questions about fashion-since its closely releated to modeling-it reminds them of what they arent. not to be mean or anything to them but they are most likely jealous.
