Im a newbie here, so what is a troll?

hi I'm new here and i was wondering whats a troll? and "t.d. fairies" and what are the top contributor things? just wondering

Well, trolls are the people that intentionally p**s people off on here.

The usual troll questions are:

"where can I buy a micro mini?"

"how long do i have to wait to breed my teacup?"

T.D. Fairies are thumbs down fairies. Usually, top contributors have little packs of them that follow them around and TD/report EVERY answer they put down. Ceasar Millan also has his own cult on here, if you dislike C.M., watch out, they'll get you!

Top Contributors are in all sections, they just signify that you know what you're talking about. Generally, you get a TC badge when you get so many best answers, and if you're active, and continue getting best answers, you keep your badge. If you're inactive, you lose it.

wow t.d fairies and trolls, hmmm I havent been on on in long time I guess lol good question I was wondering the same thing when I saw alot of people having troll in their anwsers.. lol

a troll is someone who writes something outrageous just to stir up drama and make a big fuss.

top contributors are people who frequent this sight often and have a very high % rate of "best answers".

add: T.D fairies are "Thumbs Down fairies" suggesting they don't post an answer but just come through and mark down any question they disagree with. usually mentioned when someone who gave a perfectly good answer got a few thumbs down.

Troll-someone who posts things just to get a rise out of people, or in some cases advertise blogs that have nothing to do with the question asked. Often times trolls have many profiles.

T.D. Fairies-People who have been here awhile usually end up with a couple these. TD fairies go around give Thumbs Down to people they don't like. I'm willing to bet at one time they were told something they didn't like and its their way of 'getting back' for it.

Top Contributor- Its a badge earned for participation. Totaled each week based on how many questions you answered and how many best answers you got the week before.
