Im totally new to Malaysia..so need some help with the groceries.

How can I get fresh milk..the one tht we get in Giant,Tesco etc are all above 7 RM...and stays for less than 6 days. Which hypermarket do u think is the best in Penang. Pls help me :)

i think tesco and giant are among the best

you may want to shop at the hypermarket in sunshine square[bayan baru], or prangin mall[georgetown], or gurney plaza[gurney drive], or in newly opened queensbaymall/jusco[bayan bay], or makro[gelugor]

on the mainland there is carrefour [seberang jaya] and megamal/pacific[prai]

not sure which one is the best. just shop around during weekend

there is not many hypermarket in penang, they have only, giant, tesco, sunshine and a good supermarket which is Jasco.

i think hypermarket is the way to go for groceries

both boSS & anderson are right..

better buy at hypermarket because the buying consumption quite high.. so in result  u'll get fresh stocks everyday..

I'm not quite sure what you mean about the fresh milk, are you saying that it only stays fresh for 6 days? if so that is a pretty long time even in a cool climate it wont last more than 3 days, four if your lucky.

(Boss, so are are from Penang then?!!)

Buy a cow and milk it daily.
