Im a nurse and am so confused by this! please give me some ideas of what the heck is going on with me! 10pts!?

I will try to keep this short and sweet. I have had IBS my whole life, lately over the last 3 years it has become unbearable and I think I may be allergic to something because my mouth and lips get itchy and I always have a rash on my face. worse, my abdomen hurts on the right and has radiated to the left, my lower back hurts also. my doc ordered a catscan but doesnt have the results yet. i feel like i am running a fever all the time but im not and for the last two days i am having alot of chest pressure and a little numbness in my arms, i thought it could be indigestion but prevacid, levsin, and bentyl did nothing. how could this all tie together??

I know this sounds strange, but have you been near any radiation equipment recently? get checked out for radiation contaminants hon, just in case. Have a great day!

maybe you have a food allergy:go to an allergist(ask for a referral)

get tested for gluten allergy

and anything else the Dr can think of.

I think an MRI is better than cat scan.

I hope you get tested for Crohn's colitis?

Had a blood test for your pancreas?If there is a problem with pancreas:all the food will be passing through you.

you have a food allergy.  Have you gone to an immunologist.  you might be allergic to glutten.  have you had a colonoscopy lately?

you know womens symtoms of heart attack are different from mens so you may be dealing with more than one thing here,nurses make bad patients so dont be hardheaded and go get checked out,better safe than sorry.
