Im a pretty big anime fan, and i enjoy all the storys that provide deep character development and lots of adventure. Eureka seven is a pretty good example even naruto would be appropriate. Does anyone know any great adult novels for someone who enjoys these kinds of things? Action adventure is the category of choice.

  1. Hmm...no not really. Why don't you try the Darren Shan series though? I heard that it was adapted into a manga so maybe its similar to that kind of thing.

I know a couple of adults who love Terry Pratchett so maybe you'd like to try that. I'm not so sure about character development but most of his novels have quite a lot of adventure.

The Bartimaeus Trilogy has character development but those aren't really books for adults - you could try it though since you like Naruto.

The Power of Five series by Anthony Horowitz is quite good as well - they're young adult novels.

You might like the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. The characters are lovable and there's loads of adventure.

Personally, I've never really come across any books that are like anime. They're just so different. Good luck anyway! ^^
