Question:

Im a runner and i want to get faster.?

but whateva i do i just seem to stay the same so i dont see the point in trying. also wheneva all the work starts to pay off something happens that knocks me back to the start, for example i finally started to do well and then i fell down a 12ft gap and nearly broke my back and could not walk for a month. any help ideas to get me fitter and faster.

  2. what i would do is go onto any field or track and  run  as far as you can at top speed and then gradualy run a bit further everytime. and also take lots of water and take deep breathes to gain your stamina , which will make you run further

Keep fighting.  The way the pros do it is by weight training and speedwork.  Once a week hit the gym to strengthen your legs, or go to the track and do quarter miles at 90% of your top speed, resting after each lap.  Make sure you give yourself time to heal.  Make sure you are giving yourself at least one day a week to heal.  Good luck!
