Im a senior and these dances are killin me!?

okay, so im a senior this year and i actually have two dances, the regular senior dance and prom. my problem is i really wanna go, but i refuse to go stagg and im sick of bringing all my friend's boyfriends single friends. i just dont wanna go to a dance where im like forced to spend all my time with some guy i dont even like. and ill be so upset if i dont go to prom, all my friends are like "whaaaat? you have to go!" really cause you have a boyfriend you dont have to ask anyone. oh i guess i should mention i go to an all girl school so i cant just ask anyone kinda thing. idk, what my question really is but should i worry about finding a date, just go by myself or not at all and just go out with eveyone after the dances? gahh man this sucks

I went to my prom with my GF and then 2 years later with a family friend, she asked me. Take a friend, or a family friend if your'e not taken if your really insist on going, at least you will know them and be able to talk to them. It's just a dance though, I know high school is big on social stuff but once you get to college everything in high school is gone.
