  1. Be careful; just like any other bike 2-stroke or not. Every engine has its unique curve. You will notice the bike "comes to life" during a certain rev range (called the powerband) and during that range you want to be careful in low gears because it can quite easily spin you around in a wheelie (with a 125 and up usually). Be easy on the gas and you will be fine, a common mistake is to be terrified of your bike. You will be totally used to it after just a few hours. Just be careful and ride the thing! Run the bike don't let it run you.

  2. you have to put a mix of oil and gas in the gas tank, never put straight gas in it.  For regular riding you can go 50:1 or 40:1.  For racing you can go 30:1.  Also, when you put it up for any length of time make sure you turn the gas off and leave the bike running until it burns up all the gas left in the lines and what not.  If you don't turn the gas off and burn it out then you can damage the spark plugs and it will be really difficult to start the bike, and you'll be replacing them a lot.  If you turn the gas off everytime you put it up, the bike should start first kick everytime (of course you have to remember to turn it back on before you start it.)  Also, try not to turn the throttle when you start them, this fills the carburetor up with gas and makes it difficult to start as well.

Take care of the bike and it will take care of you.

  3. Don't put just plain gas in it!

  4. (1) Don't use diesel for fuel

    (2) Don't buy "Dollar Store Oil"

    (3) Don't ride without a helmet or MX boots(even when your naked)

    (4) Don't put "pink tassels" hanging from your handle bars

    (5) Don't use "super glue" & " duct tape" to fix broken plastic on your dirt bike

    (6) Don't forget to do schedule mantinence on your dirt bike

    (7) Don't use two different types of brake fluid

    (8) Don't try to ride beyond your limitation(work up to it)

    (9) Don't be a "poser" or "squid"(wearing your hat sideways does not make you a good rider)

    (10) Always watch out for the "pee wee" riders, don't be a bully....be helpful, you learn more

  5. basically, dont snap the throttle too quick. if its a 125 it will take off, if its a 250 it could very well throw you off the back.

    >make sure to use quality synthetic mixing oil at the correct manufacturers ratio.

    >clean/oil your air filter every ride or at least every other depending on riding conditions

    > dont lug the engine its not a pony its a stallion
