Im a surfer who wants to try longboard skateboarding. what board should i use to make it feel like im surfing?

Try a caster board. They feel like just like surfing and it has definitely improved my surfing by practicing when I'm not in the water.

I would try those all terrain skateboards that have the big tires. You can ride them not only on pavement, but on dirt as well and it make you feel like you are riding the waves.

sorry but theres a big difference between surfin n skating on a longboaard. so theres no way that skatin on a longboard will feel like surfin

I also surf and i also longboard skateboard. It is awesome because i live where you can't surf. You should get the Sector 9 Bamboo (flexible) one with a tail poped up like a regular skateboard. Also when you skate put your front foot all the way at the front it makes the board so much easier to control.

gravity skateboards. i ride the 32" super slalom and it turns like a shortboard at the trough of a wave. you can even squat down and pig dog it to simulate hard cutbacks and make the wheels slide. the longer boards are even stable enough to ride the nose. check it out
