  1. I have the same problem. It's not even that I get that scared, I get sick. I become very dizzy really easily, and I get motion sickness very easily too so it's hard to enjoy scary rides when I know I'll get sick. To help, you can go on youtube and search the ride to see what its like to ride it or when you're there, you can just look at the ride and ask yourself...what's scary about it? Why should/shouldnt I go on it?

Good luck, hope you have fun.

  2. I know what you mean. I feel like a boring loser because I don't really like rides. I just don't ENJOY them like a lot of people do. They are not fun or exciting to me it's more like being tortured for 2 minutes. Sometimes I will give in and go on something scary and after it's over I'm like "that wasn't so bad." So just remember that even if it looks really scary, it's never as bad as it looks. It will be over with in a couple minutes and you will be glad you did it. It will be over with and the stress will be gone. My bf forced me to go on the Hollywood Tower at disneyland after a long time of not going on it. Everytime we would get near it my heart would start pounding hoping that he didn't mention it. When I finally went on it I realized it wasn't as bad as it looked and I felt so relieved it was over with! Good luck. =)

  3. Live like you are dying!!

  4. I am too!  But I conquered a biggie yesterday and I am feeling pretty good!  All I can tell you is that it wasn't even half as bad as what I was expecting and when my daughter was considering riding something that was scaring her, I told her this;  the total time of the ride is 75 seconds.  Only 35 of those seconds are actual ride time, the rest is going up a hill.   I told her this is thirty seconds out of your life.  Thirty seconds for you to decie whether you like it or not.  Then you know if it is something you want to do again or not.

I know this is easier said than done, but telling her that helped me get on a roller coaster I have been avoiding since last year. That and her 10 year old friend saying she would only ride if I did.   I thought I was going to get sick before I got on it!!  But like I said it wasn't near as bad as i thought. Honestly, I cannot wait to ride it again!

I think we tend to work ourselves up with anticipation and that is what gives us the thrill of the ride.  Keeping it under control allows us to enjoy the ride.

    Good luck
