for speeding, going on red and such. now everytime i go make a right turn on red, i make a full stop, look for traffic and proceed if there is none. but im afraid that the camera will go off and ill get a $380 dollar ticket like my friend for nothing. whats the best thing to do then if you are turning right and its red? wait till it turns green? but cars behind you would be honking and such...

  1. just try to keep you face away from the cameras view ;p

or you can wait for green just dont have your blinker on and like if you want to put it on then do it like last second

  2. If you are scared wait and if they honk let them they won't have to pay the ticket.  It should not do anything for right on red though, but better safe than sorry

  3. I'm sorry, but this is a bit paranoid.  Unless there is a sign that says that you cannot turn right on red, they actually EXPECT drivers to turn right on red after a full stop.  It's LEGAL to do that, so you won't be the first one to do it, nor the last.  Not only that, but at that intersection, they EXPECT it (if there is no sign) so I'm willing to bet you ANYTHING that they aren't watching that lane unless the traffic is proceeding straight forward.  The cameras capture more than one shot of each car, so if you DO get snapped, they will see you turning right, not going forward.  If you are following the law, and you are caught on tape doing it... what POSSIBLY could happen??!?  Following the law is GOOD!  No need to fear your right on red.  Don't allow a camera to make you afraid to live a law abiding life.

  4. dude...if the light is red, your not meant to be going anywhere...

why would they honk at you for a red light?

  5. Come to a full stop.  Not a rolling stop.  At 16 you literally cannot afford ANYTHING on your license.  Impatient people behind you be darned.  They are certainly not going donate to the cost of a ticket you may be issued.  Unfortunately dealing with (ignoring) impatient, aggressive drivers are part of driving. Just remind yourself they should have left 5 minutes sooner if they are in such a god awful rush and that is not your problem.
