  1. maybe this

or anything with 1080p with hdmi and good contrast ratio

  2. You have to send an olevia to the manufacturer for service.  Overseas I believe.

  3. SCREEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

"Oh Thank you TV Tech-man® for saving my life, I was about to go over that cliff with that brand new Olevia!"

"Yep, and nobody would have missed you, except me,   Because I am NOT TOO LATE to save you from catastrophe !"

    Here's something you should buy.....

    And here's another GOOD one......

And if you want a real real REAL good Plasma.....

    http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Panasonic...

Any of the above units are BETTER than the OLEVIA....Ask the store salemen how the OLEVIA TVs are serviced...do they come out and fix them? Do they keep parts in stock on the trucks? Where do the trucks come from?  Their store or a store 300 miles away? Does another company come out to fix them?  How many have been exchanged??

You may hear 98% are exchanged......No parts to repair them. So now you have to keep an extended warranty on it until it's 15 years old to get good life from your investment....

At least with the other 3, you can get parts and service on them anywhere you live !!

  4. Olevias normally have really crappy repair service if it breaks, so like someone has said, I would go with either a Sony, Panasonic, Mitsubishi. Samsungs are nice TVs but they fail when it comes to repairing them in some cases. With numerous versions of TVs with different parts and suffix numbers I don't like them as much as others.

  5. Go to the store and see it in person. Make sure you like it and check the warranty.

  6. Buy a sony or samsung. You cant go wrong with either of those.  When buying an lcd tv, dont buy the biggest screen for the least amount of money. You will regret it.  Please do more research before buying an lcd tv.  And goto the store and look at the pictures before buying one.
