  1. to make that sort of money you are going to need a high up professional job and from now to the birth isnt enough time unless you have any certain qualifications which can help. are you currently working? if so you may be entitled to paid maternity leave.  if not then you should speak with a job advisor and find something that is right for you. remember these days parents can survive on low incomes so whatever you find or get offered, its better than nothing.

  2. Welfare...

  3. Arbonne is a great company if you like doing home parties a few times a week. CitiGroup rated it as the #1 home sales company! Amazing products (all natural, hypoallergenic and they work), guarantees and support. Find a consultant near you and talk about it - $36 to get in, no other investments! I know women driving company paid for Mercedes that only do 2 parties a week.

ebay is easy to do from home too - if you find the right things to sell on there. My friend makes thousands with her ebay business, but she has a lot of time to shop for sales and finds things to sell.

Medical Transcription might be something to look into too.

  4. I wrote an article that might help  http://www.associatedcontent.com/article...

  5. Ask the dad to work more and lower your living standard. Then you will not need the $2800 a month. This is what I did for my family. my wife has been home for 4 1/2 years now and we got use to living without thing we didn't need in the first place.

  6. Is there a daddy, preferably a husband, involved?  If so, try to cut back on expenses and/or get a part-time job when he is home with the baby.

Note: babies don't just suddenly appear in your life.  If being a stay at home mom is what you desire, perhaps some advance planning would have been nice.

  7. you can do medical billing and coding at home thats the only real job I know of also you can take 3 months off work but you have to use short term disabitilty if you have it good luck

  8. Check this website, there are many different companies that offer telecommuting.  Congratulations on the baby!!  http://www.2work-at-home.com/telecommute...

  9. my husband works two jobs to allow me to stay at home with my kids. if anything you could work a night job, or medical billing or something with your degree. one thing i did for awhile to help out with bills is childcare in my home. but you really have to have patients. $2800 is a big expectation to work at home. most companys will pay you less then what you would make working in the office because you are not paying for gas, etc.  my advice is go for childcare or go get a job in the evenings.  or have your husband get a second job and see how that goes...

  10. Unless you have your own business or are able to telecommute with a willing company..there is no real way to make that at home.

  11. With your degree, you can look for a job that has telecommuting from the getgo. Or see if there any open telecommuting positions open in your current company. It is possible, but with the way gas is these days, people are probably really trying to get those jobs, so there may be quite a competition. If you want to try something new, then you will need training in that field before you can make money like what you are suggesting. Unless you want to start your own web based business. You have the training for that as well. But do it well, and not through those scam sites. (SMC, etc)

If you live in the U.S., you can legally stay home for 12 weeks according to the FMLA. however, it is unpaid. But it is legal job protection.

  12. myself i am on Welfare. i have a year exemption so i can stay home and take care of my little on.  it's your choice they have a lot of jobs you can do on line though also.
