Im about to start highschool, advice?

Im gonna be a freshman and im stressing about having a good balance between social stuff and schoolwork :O

I just graduated high school and going into college. The most important thing is the schoolwork of course. Don't worry about the social stuff too much, unless you're very outgoing, which in that case it will be hard. Join a sport or club, meet some people, but you'll realize that social life in high school means nothing after graduation.

Take advantage of school projects so that can be a social way to learn. Also, just do all your homework and then go out and have a good time.

Okay to balance.  

Go to school, get good grades,  Join some clubs or sports after school.

Then your about set to go.  high school worries many people but once your used to it.  It'll be much like you being comfortable in middle school.  Just take things a step at a time.

I had a 3.8 gpa in middle school, then it dropped to a 3.5 then a 3.17 in my freshman year. If you slack off even one bit, more slacking will ensue and you will be in a world of regret. The important thing is, high school prepares you for college, which will determine how much income you will make and whether or not your life will be a success. This is always on the back of not only my mind, but the dozens of kids in my AP and Honors classes.

throughtout the school year it will be made clear to you that your a freshman and at the bottom of the food chain.we've all have to deal with it.

dont slack off once you become a sophmore.just cause now you know how everything works in your school.

work hard, it will be SO worth it when applying to college.

join a lot of after school activities/do community service.

youll make friends and have fun , but school should be more important.

study, study, study.

high school can be a great 4 years of your life, its just what you make up it.

so have an open mind,be kind, and make the best of these years.

highschool passes by fast,trust me.

in no time you;ll be looking into college.
