  1. My worst side effect was fatigue. It was worse at the end of the week than at the beginning. Towards the end of the treatments, I was tired almost all the time. I would just sleep whenever I could. I even slept in my office at work. Shut the door, turn out the light and sleep for an hour.

I also had hair lose. I lost my hair in a weird pattern around my head. Where the radiation hit my head. I ended up shaving my head and wearing a hat.

My biggest thing was fear. That first treatment was scary and anti-climatic. I laid there for maybe 10 minutes and got up and left. I didn't feel any different at all. It was almost weird.

The mask was a little disconcerning, but I got used to it pretty quick. The time on the table was a good time to meditate and pray, It is actually the easiest part of treating the brain tumor.

    Good luck with your treatment.

  2. Don't know whether it will help but I found this...

Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you.

  3. Get lots of Aquaphor ointment for the head. Definitely helps reduce "Burn" on the scalp. Sugar-free chewing gum for the taste left in mouth. Drink lots of water. Other than those, I had no side-effects, short-term. Long term  was "fish-bowl" head. Felt like I was talking from inside one. BUT That is my particular issues. You may or may not have any.
