Riight Beardies are great pets but they can only thrive if they are healthy and happy. You need a vivarium at least 3 an a half foot in width and 2 foot high. You need a UV light at the back of the tank and a heat lamp that goes on a far side of the tank. They eat crickets and dark green vegetables, ask your pet shop how much they should eat for how old or large they are. Use reptile sand as the beardies substrate and decorate with wooden logs and strong plastic plants. Spray with water about twice or three times a week.
