  1. Its the not having any money cos you keep spending it shopping thats making you so low !!

I bet you dont even wear or use half the stuff.

Focus on your bank account instead old girl, what what.

  2. I'm guessing your running up some debts with this addiction. The media doesn't help by bombarding people with new deals and 'apply for our new credit card'. I had a store-card once and I'm now paying off a £1,500 debt on it of which £400 has been interest. I can empathise that buying nice new things and wearing good clothes which give you confidence but learnt that its a lot more beneficial to be yourself and genuine as the partners and friends that stick around like you for you and don't care if your wearing the latest D&G.

If it's that you get a kick out of spending money, then there's two things to consider. Unless you go bankrupt ( meaning your £10,000 or more in debt ), which has lots of repercussions, you will have to pay those debts off somehow. The Citizen Advice Bureau can point you in the direction of a charitable organisation that will assist in making deals with your creditors so that you pay an affordable monthly payment against your debt and the interest is frozen too ( even whilst your negotiating the amount of your payment ). Also the organisation becomes the contact for these matters and the creditors are no longer allowed to hastle you for payments. I did this with 4 of my debts when I became unemployed and it was such a relief.

The second thing to consider is whats lacking in your life that makes you want to live beyond your means? Life is about experiencing emotions and it doesn't have to always involve money being spent. I say that as someone who learnt the hard way. Sit down on your own or with someone you trust and knows you well and think what are the things you haven't done you'd like to experience the most? Wouldn't it be better to invest in these ambitions then buying clothes? Maybe you just lack someone to love you in which case look into all the avenues where you can meet new people and hopefully someone will come along. Sorry this has turned into a bit of essay! Hope I've helped

  3. Spend fifteen minutes every day looking over your credit card statements and balancing your checkbook.  That should help.

  4. Start smoking.
