  1. Dallas, TX

There is almost everything here. Also the economy hasn't fell like other big cities.

    Also Pasadena isn't a big city.lol

  2. Dallas, TX

  3. Make a list of the places you would like to be.

    Before making any commitments

Figure out where your going to work to get money so you know how much you will have for a budget.

Figure out where you can live and check on cost and make sure you will have enough.

Check on other cost in the area like gas, heat, electric.

Work out a budget and then figrue that you will probably miss something and add 20 percent more cost to your total cost to cover unexpected cost.

Figure out a back out plan if you need to come home

Once you look at the cost and available jobs that might define what city to look into.

Or it might let you know that while you may be old enough, you might not be ready.

  4. Weather is a huuuuge thing for me so I love living in southern california where I can complain that it's freeeeezing when it's 55 degrees outside in the dead of winter.

Is weather important to you?  If you're not sure, try visiting New York or Chicago around this time of year (February) or Dallas or Orlando, FL in August.

I've been to just about every major city in the country and have a few favorites:

Austin, TX - Great college town with a lot of history and down to earth people (and the south by southwest music festival in the summer!)

Chicago - similar to New York but a bit smaller and with friendlier people

Manhattan/New York - The biggest of the big cities - I believe everyone should try to live there once in their lives.

Seattle - Probably the greatest and most underrated city on the west coast.  Beautiful and fun.

Los Angeles - Sucks.  The people are fake and two-faced, the city itself is far too spread out to enjoy living in one area of it.  Geez, do I sound jaded?  Maybe I am - but trust me, the US has much more to offer than LA.

    Good luck!

  5. NEW YORK! THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH!! :D
