  1. I believe that being confident is a start. If you're confident then you should not allow anyone to make you feel intimidated. It's okay to be nervous but if you put on an act from the start like you own the ground you walk on, know your stuff, and have interpersonal skills, this might help. Just go full force with confidence and go fromt there!


  2. First be feel proud of your profession & enjoy it! Dear the selling process starts from your self first.U have to sell the products to your self then others.... Enjoy Selling!  

  3. Identify what is the complex you have compare with the person you are planning to meet. If you feel your language is not proper, then improve that. If you just fear, think that you are not going to disturb him but you are planning to help him. through this mentality, you can overcome this situation.

    See the face of a really close friend of you in the customer. then start the conversation as per that. You can win


  4. Same as I did.  Just do it.  The fear may stay, it may go.  Doesn't matter.  Just do it and don't think about it.

  5. One can not learn to swim by sitting on the shores. Jump into the water and you may learn how to swim.

  6. If you are sure that you are representing the best insurance company in town and are offering a plan best suited to client need there is no need to fear.

    Be proud and confident that you are helping someone secure his/her life.

    I am confident since I represent a Company which has won the best service brand award for the fifth year in a row.

Do you want to eat, have a house, or keep your job?  That is a way to overcome your fears.  Fortunately for you, people need insurance for cars and homes.  It just depends on who they feel comfortable with.  After you get in the door and build a relationship with cars and homes it makes it easier to sell life, health and other products.  Remember "NO" in sales never killed anybody.  "NO" doesn't mean "NO" forever and don't take "NO" personally.  Selling is the laws of percentages.   The more people you get in front of, the more you will hear "NO" but also the more you will hear "YES" and "YES" is what you are after.  Finally, also overtime, some of the "NO's" will turn into "YES's" without you even having to follow up.
