it means why do you want to work for them

tell them why you want to work for them make it sound the best thing you have ever done or wanted to do - basically sell yourself to the company making the company seem wonderful.(by the way check your grammar applying not apply and I'm not im also don't call it a job call it a position it makes it and you sound more professional)

they want 2 know why u want 2 work 4 them. tell them that u enjoy interacting with others and that u are a peoples person. they are going to want someone who is not afraid to talk to people that they do not know and can sound good and professional on the phone.

You could answer that you are interested in dealing with the public and problem solving but also mention that you are interested in working for the company as they are prestigious one (if they are!!)

Also emphasise your good points, i.e.:

Organisational skills.

People skills.

How you would stay polite and professional even if the caller was being rude.

etc etc

Well if you answer along the lines of "well it's all I could find" they won't be impressed. You need to say something that inspires them, like you have a friendly telephone manner and love speaking to people. That it's your opportunity to expand your skills at dealing with people etc...
