Im applying for us citizenship with the n-600 form, do i have to be in the us when i file it?

cos it takes so long to file, up to 11 months, that kinda isn't possible seeing as i can only legally stay for 3 months at a time.

im a uk citizen at the moment

  1. The N-600 is an application saying one or more of your parents are an American Citizen. So, unless that is true, you are filing the wrong form.
