  1. show them how good you are and get people who no them that you no to put a good word in for you good luck

  2. I'm sorry, but if you can't communicate any better than this, you should go back to school for a few years, then consider politics at a later date.

  3. I have created a set of campaign issues for anyone seeking local elective office. You are free to use any of these issues. They can be seen at www.lawmall.com/electionissues

I suggest that you build a permissive email list of the voters (and non-voters) in your "civic ward" [which according to my search results a few seconds ago is probably located in Australia or India] and send a weekly newsletter to them explaining who you are and what you want to accomplish for them.

A way to build this list would be to get volunteers to go door to door and obtain the email addresses and written permission to add the names to your email list.

You also might consider the following (highly sophisticated) plan. Using my website, www.myclads.com (meaning "my classified ads".com) show your local voters how they can list themselves for free on the website to redefine themselves economically and if you can get enough persons in your civic ward to do that you should be able to get additional income to these listing voters. If you can do this (i.e., get more money to your constituents), you should have no trouble in getting elected to the office you seek.

Your "civic ward" is probably the same as the "ward" we used to have in Boston and NYC. See http://eggcorns.lascribe.net/forum/viewt...  for information about how Tip O'Neill was a "ward healer" and is quoted as saying that "all politics is local". Ward healers bestow favors upon their constituents and one of the most appreciated favors is money. Things have not changed. If you can get money to your constituents, you can get (and certainly would be earning) their vote.

www.myclads.com is designed to do exactly that. Using my free website www.myclads.com I think you could create an economic dynamo in a community by getting voters and other residents to list what they would like to do for money and this would give people in the area (beyond your community or ward) the opportunity to find people they could retain to do specific tasks - for higher pay per hour than employees are generally paid when working fulltime). If you want any assistance in your efforts - at no charge - please let me know - and this goes for anyone interested in running for office anywhere in any English-speaking country.

  4. Learn to spell a bit...and how to use correct grammar. I really don't mean to be rude...but come on.

  5. I don't vote for people who can't spell.  Start by running spelling and grammar checkers on anything you type:

"I'm an aspiring candidate for a civic ward... I need their vote.... how do I convince them to vote for me?"

Make sure you know the difference between "there, their and they're", "4, four, fore and for" as well as when to use an apostrophe.

Once you can communicate legibly, try soliciting all your friends, family, and co-workers to nominate you.
