  1. Everyone!!!

    He is AT WORK!

This means he doesnt have ADMIN rights to his puter.

It also means that the company is probably doing Maintenance on her puter at that time and using something like PSTOOLs shutdown to ensure that all the patches and pushes are up to date!

I would talk to your Information Technology Department and/or Information Assurance Department and explain your predicament.  They most likely will not stop the computers from rebooting, BUT, you could suggest for them to allow you to postpone the reboot or have them give you a shut down timer so you can back up your work!

Computers NEED to reboot in order to ensure that all the security / fixes / patches are installed and operating correctly!  You SHOULD reboot the puter at least once a week!

  2. Sounds like your Windows auto update is the cause of this.  Go into your computer's control panel and locate the Auto Updates icon to see what it is set to or you can pull up the Scheduled Tasks folder under the control panel to see if there is some other program that might be causing this.

  3. Josh, this computer is scheduled to restart every 2 weeks. Last time I was told, it was to refresh all of the programs + memory from leaving WeighWiz on all the time. Why are you here asking about it, anyway? Seems more like you should have asked Scott or Nick first >XD

  4. Save all your C drive data on Drive D. Format C and Install OS.

else run CA antivirus with Spyware remover.

Check and if problem persists mail me
