Im babysitting a 3 year old ... i need help

ok so my mom owns a tanning salon and one of her customers comes in with her daughter sometimes... so my mom and her are going out tonight and im babysitting but i heard from my mom and her employie that shes a brat sooo any ideas on what i can do with her?

ok pop in a movie, let her kno you are fun

do not go into it with a neg attitude cuz if you go in it like that then she will b a brat

my best bet is movie, little bit o pop corn, maybe put m&ms in the popcorn to make it more kid friendly and get her interested

dont give her too much though lol

three year olds tend to like to do things themselves so try making cookies and letting her mix the ingredients or something simple

Pick a play set that she has like Barbies or whatever.  Let her pick a doll that is yours and start a pretend world with your dolls setting up  households and visiting and trading and whatever.  Try to do it near the TV so that you have some entertainment for yourself out of the corner of your eye.  If she starts to be rude to you, get down to her level and explain your rules.  Let a little rumble get in your voice so that she knows you have rules you  expect her to follow.

Plan quiet activities such as drawing or playing with puzzles.  Make it clear that you are the babysitter and you expect her to do as she is told.  Make her sit in a "time out" chair and refuse to play with her if she misbehaves.  If she misbehaves with an object or toy, that item is gone for the evening.  Never, ever, ever give into tantrums or whining.  Praise her when she behaves well.
