Well I just want to know if I went to Russia and liked it, would I be able to find an Russian girlfriend

Definitely.  Especially if you are an American citizen.  All those Russian girls want out of that country and will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

Please don't be so hard up that you resort to that.  There would be many hardships that will follow if you do.

I don't really see why not. Also in your favour, if you want to look at it that way, is that some of the women might view you as "exotic," and want to get to know you better.

OK, here's a big wake up call from somebody who has been to Russia and even been married to a Slavic (Ukrainian) woman once (big mistake).  

First, forget about meeting an African woman there, as was previously suggested, unless you want to learn French or some native African tribal tongue.  The woman won't speak any English!  She will speak French, Russian, any African native language, or a combination.  

If, however, you did by some miracle find an English-speaking African woman there, you best team up with a white couple if you want to go out at night in Moscow.  You don't want to get beat do you?  Would you have traveled with any woman at night in some white Southern localities prior to the 1960's?  OK, then.  

With a white chick I don't know how it would be, but you don't have to worry about anybody robbing you on the streets of Moscow.  Once you bring her home with you, she'll be the one doing that.  

OK, if you want to risk all that, here's what you do.  Go to Moscow and sit at a fountain at one of the big parks (there was one whose initials I don't remember--it was either VDNK or VDKH).  Sit there, eat, read a newspaper, whatever.  The girls will come to you.  It's a Russian custom.  I didn't think it would work until three of them came at me at one time.

Yes. I believe Russia is also a destination which African women from their native countries travel to. They have many Liberians, South Africans, Congonese, Central African Republic travelers who go to Moscow. Therefore, you should be able to find a Russian girlfriend there. I hope this helps you.
