Im bored.... Simple questions?

Question

How often do you walk your dog? How long does each walk last?

I walk all of my dogs twice a day for 45 minutes each time (3 dogs go then the other 4 go for a walk)

we go on our trails by the house, normally we walk for an 2hrs...but its been yucky outside, so we do 30min twice a day

Its great to have so many dogs, I have 6!!

Lately, with suddenly a rush of too many things to get done in a short period of time (the result of procrastinating all summer!), we've only been able to go on two walks (one in the morning, and one in the evening) which are about a half hour long each.

However, my boys have the privilege of going to work with me because I work at dog daycare. So they do spend seven hours a day, six days a week, running around like mad-men with their buddies. Walks are simply for my personal enjoyment these days haha

once a day for 30 minutes he is 4 months old. you have 7 dogs??? what kinds? how do they get along?

Once a day for an hour or so. i dont take my bulldogs (english) for walks cause they just cant handle long walks lol, and i like to take long walks, they get to run around in our 2 acre yard though so they get exercise. I take one of my weims cause they other one is at my other house where the 2 acre yard is, and my old boy well hes got other dog issues and temperament issues and anxiety issues (yes i know bad breeding but at that time we had no idea about it and we have learn, also that breeder is out of business)  and to the point i cant handle walking him hes to much for me to walk but he gets exercise when hes down at my other house.

Edit- oh i forgot about my french bulldog well shes just like my english but the thing is shes lazy doesnt want to do anything but sleep lol she gets out side though we let her out in the front of the house that has 2 acres  and she goes and lies around in the sun she never leaves the yard or basically never passes the  cars shes quite obediant, we dont have to worry about her cause its a private drive

I actually dont take my dog for many walks.  We live on a busy road, and its not always feasable to take him to the walking path.

He does get plenty of exercize daily tho..  games of fetch, running in the yard, tormenting the cats, and chasing the laser pointer.

i walk my dog whenever i'm free i always go with my dog after work and on early morning while i exercise.gud luck!!!with that

Depends on the breed and their stage of life.  My Border Collie needed a minimum of 6 miles per day at @ 7.5 mph for the first 2 years of his life.  In later years, he still liked lots of exercise, but did not have to have this much every day.  We also played a lot of frisbee.

Again I would not consider this amount of exercise for most breeds.

We live in the country and have a BIG yard, so my aussie prefers frisbee in the yard to walks. I usually take him for a short walk in the morning (usually against his will while he stairs longingly at the car, like 'I would rather go for a car ride mom') and then he goes out to play fetch or run around with our elderly border collie probebly 10 times a day (everyone takes him out) And then we go for jogs on the beach or hikes for at least 3 klm a few times a week. Our border collie prefers to go on shorter walk down the road and play with our aussie (shes 13)

I have 2 dogs - they are Brittany's.  We take them for a walk every day for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.  That's off leash - they need a good off leash run to be happy - they are running fools!

40 minutes a day, twice, 20 minutes per walk.

He's 6 years old, adopted and has terrible hind legs, so we can only stroll then stop for a break half way through the walk.

But I love him! ♥

That's a lot of dogs... i wish i could have that many (live with parents who say "one is enough" BAGH!)

Anyway, i walk her once a day. A mile or so each walk at various speeds. I go longer if i know i can't take her the next day. She loves it - she also gets weekly outings to the park.

Geez...you have lots of dogs, how could you be bored? LOL:)

Right now we are taking 3 15 min walks...our pup is only 15.5 weeks.

I hope, when she is full grown, to take her on two 1 hour walks a day...one in the morning and one in the evening.

I walk my 10 year old dog about once a day for 30 min., because that is usually how long it takes to wear her out. Sometimes if she is lucky, I'm able to take her on two 30-min. walks.

Wow, seven dogs?  You beat me by one =) I have six.

I take my Fox Terrier mix Ginger and my Beagle mix Anna out together. Ginger doesn't need a leash because she understands what, 'Stay in the yard' means, lol. I put Anna on a leash and I run with them and walk them in the woods for , I don't know, 30 minutes to an hour , depending on the day. The other dogs I do the same.

I walk my dogs rarely. (bad I know) Thank god I don't have 7. They'd all be fat and piled up on my bed like cushions.

I have a really big yard so most of the time i just let them out to play and they come in and out as they wish. but i know a good place  to take them walking by a river and i try doing that with them about 2 times a week! :) i have 7 dogs also 4 pits, 2 chawawas, and a ratterrier! what kind do u have?
