Im buyign 2 budgies. What gender should they be?

I am going to buy 2 budgies and I want them to be social and get along with each other and to chirp and talk. So will males be more social and get along with each other and talk or females?

Male and female is best, especially if you want little babies. Just be sure to attach a nesting box to the side of the cage.

Get 2 boys.  Females can have more health issues due to their ability to lay eggs (they can become "eggbound").  Boys will be easier.  ^_- My family had one of each and the boy was healthy as a horse until he passed away, the girl was always having problems.

TWO MALES!! Two females tend to fight alot, and if you get one of each, the male could attack the female. Or the other way around. If the male wants to mate and the female doesn't, theres some issues there. Trust me PLEASE two males are the way to go! (they also have less health issues)

I had 2 budgies 1 male and one female. They get along so great. I recomend getting 1 male and 1 femae but if you do not want to have more (mating) then dont get a male and a female. But otherwise yes get 1 of  each gender.

normally the male budgies talk more than females, but if u want a pair that gets along together go to the pet store n watch which two talk to each other more, n buy those pair

One is male and other is female, they will communicate
