Im buyin a car but i think im gettin screwed, what can i do?

im buying a car and my old coworker is middle manning the process. so far i havent gotten a pinkslip or anything. its been 3 monthes and i havent even met the guy selling the car. i havent talked to him either. i dont know what to do. i cant register it or get it legal. ive tried time and time again to get papers signed through my old coworker but nothin ever happens. i was wondering what i could possibly do to either get my money back or get the car in my name. any advice would be appreciated.

tell your coworker to give you this guys name and address or phone number because he is obviously no doing a well enough job, if he says no threaten to call the cops and if he still doesn't actually callthe cops, now if he gives you the guys number confront this guy if he doesn't give you the papers again i would file a police report

Get some advice from the police.  You may not like the outcome; but you'll get it resolved.  Tell your co-worker your intentions.  You need to draw this to a conclusion before the trail gets cold.
