He must have bought it new so he had full coverage. Pull an insurance report to make sure it wasn't a Hurricane Katrina flood bike or something similar. There may be some good to know info on there.

Tinted windscreen isn't that big of a selling point so make sure you have a mechanic give it a once over and go for a test ride. This guy is taking a $2,000 hit for a reason so be cautious.

If all checks out it's a great deal.

An '07 for $6400 is pretty damned good, can't argue with that. Check service history and see how that goes, take it for a test ride first.

I'd be OK spending $6,400 on that bike.

Will they take $5,800?......make sure you spend some time negotiating a little more. Some people are pretty anxious to sell a motorcycle.

It sounds like a good price. The dealership where I work just sold a CBR600RR 2006, 9k miles for 6500. I would say go for it.
