i want to find the maximum speed of the yamaha 2009 vino 50

does 0.47 kg-m (3.4 ft-lb) @ 6,000 rpm have anything to do with it?

  1. it is how much torque the motor makes at that rpm


  2. 50cc is 3 cubic inches. There are model airplane engines bigger than this. These mo peds are junk, period. At best they are toys. Remember, the cement truck behind you in traffic is not a toy. Get at least a 125cc. The moped as economic fuel salvation is an illusion, and a dangerous one.

  3. foot-pound, is just a measurement of the force to rotate something or (torque).  in other words your rear tire may have a radius of one foot, and the force it puts out is equivalent to 50 pounds. so  if there was a weight just less than 50 pounds in front of the bike it would be able to overcome the force.

  4. It's how much TORQUE the engine makes at that RPM.  It has little to do with top speed, more to do with acceleration.  Top speed would have more to do with total horsepower.

    To convert (roughly) torque to horsepower use the following formula:   (Torque X RPM) / 5252 = Horsepower

    Top speed of the 2009 Vino 50 is 35-40 mph
