  1. Brownsnowboarder mostly summed it up. Most people are somewhat biased when it comes to snowboard brands, but the truth is that every board is good for a certain somebody, regardless of brand or price. I own four boards, all by different brands, and I love them all. Before looking for snowboards, make sure you know your ability level,  your style of riding, and budget... this will help narrow down your choices. Then, do research or talk to a credible salesperson and pick the board that suits your needs. Remember that each board is unique in its own way. Here is a great site with very cheap boards and great customer service: http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/ . I would recommend checking it out.  Hopefully that help you. Good Luck!!!

  2. Burtons is probably the best ever I have 2 great ones.

  3. Brand doesn't really make that much of a difference.  It all depends on if the board is your size, if you like the weight, the flex, and the quality.

  4. hieght doesnt matter you can pretty much get what ever size if your in park get shorter and flexy if your riding a mountain get longer and a little stiffer just go by what feels the best rome, signal, stepchild, salmon, and lib tech are all god boards

  5. I agree with Van. Hit it right on the head. This is coming from someone who rides nothing but Burton. It depends on how much you weigh what style of riding you are doing and how much you are willing to spend. Burton is not for everybody so just find a board that fits you. If it is Burton then cool if not who cares. Hopefully your board will be in the snow where it belongs no one can see it there so who really cares what brand you get. Buy what feels good to you
