Im buying a pool table and i need help?

i need to know what the difference between slatron and particle board is and what store sells slatron so i could look at it in its raw unused form

He is 100% ccorrect.  Get a 1' or 1 1/2' think slate will be the best way to go.  That will insure you that your table will not worp, because slate is a solid rock.  Make sure you have help or have where ever you buy the table install it, because its freeken heavy... haha

Don't waste your money on either of these materials.  There is no substitute for genuine slate.  You will be disappointed with anything less.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
